For those who are not familiar with this : The
RSS is a web technology that is gaining usage day by day, and
already many big information houses, newspapers and major websites
are now offering their information through this technology. You must
have seen a dark orange button or link with XML/RSS written on it.
This is the link for the RSS feed.
The RDF Site Summary or RSS is actually an extension to
the RDF language. Quoting the official RSS v1.0 specification: RDF
(Resouce Description Framework) Site Summary (RSS) is a lightweight
multipurpose extensible metadata description and syndication format.
RSS is an XML application, conforms to the W3Cs RDF specification
and is extensible via XML-namespace and/or RDF based
modularization.’ .This can be pulled by means of an aggregator.
This may sound Greek and Latin to many. Therefore
in to put in simple words its a format for Organizing or
administering web content.A feed is a machine readable (usually XML)
content publication that is updated regularly. Aggregators are
RSS Readers that decode these xml pages or tags and subscribe to
these feeds to automatically check for updates. Each feed contains
items that are published over time. When checking an aggregator is
actually looking for new items. New items are automatically
discovered and downloaded for you to read. Therefore you need not
come to us, here we come to you.
With major websites offering this technology The
Noble School Alumnus is not left behind (not to mention we are
already on WAP). Our information is now also available as a RSS XML
Feed. Right click on the following orange XML button
and select the copy shortcut option to get the link and use it in a news Aggregator. Now you will be updated through these feeds instantly.
